Directions
Create the band for the headdress by cutting out a length of brown construction paper that is about 2 inches thick (width). Draw feathers on red, yellow, and orange construction paper. Help children cut them out. Encourage the children to decorate the feathers with embellishments such as leaves, glitter or any other Thanksgiving related items. Attach the feathers to back inside of the back of the hat.
